105-Year-Old Celebrates Birthday with Fireball Whiskey

Flo Hackman, a 105-year-old resident of Loveland, Ohio, has embraced a unique tradition to mark her birthdays: taking a celebratory shot of Fireball whisky. This year, Flo toasted her milestone surrounded by loved ones at the Traditions of Deerfield senior living facility. After her whisky toast, she blew out candles on a chocolate-frosted cake, continuing a tradition that has become a highlight of her celebrations.

Hackman’s zest for life is infectious, with her philosophy of taking things “one day at a time” inspiring those around her. “Flo brightens our days and reminds us about all the fun and joy we can experience later in life,” said Kristen Kelly, the facility’s executive director.

Born in 1918, Hackman credits her longevity to her unwavering commitment to having fun. “Maybe that’s why I’m here so long,” she mused in a video shared by the Cincinnati Enquirer.

A devoted NFL fan, Hackman also received a special acknowledgment from her favorite team, expressing her hope to see them make it to the Super Bowl. “Hopefully they do it while I’m still here,” she said with her trademark optimism. Flo’s spirit proves that age is just a number, and life is always worth celebrating.
