18 Children Find Forever Homes at Holiday Adoption Event

Eighteen children found their forever families during a heartwarming holiday adoption event at the Ocala Courthouse in Florida just in time for Christmas. Presided over by Judge Stacy Youmans, the courthouse was transformed into a festive celebration, complete with Santa and Mrs. Claus handing out adoption certificates to the newly united families.

Adding a personal touch, Judge Youmans gifted each family a personalized ornament engraved with their names, a keepsake to commemorate their special day. After the official proceedings, families enjoyed a joyful holiday party with cookies, gifts, and cherished photo opportunities with Santa.

By the end of the day, 13 families were officially united with their adopted children, marking a moment of love and new beginnings. Sherry Suarez, who adopted two siblings, shared her encouragement for others to consider adoption, saying, “Do it. It’s a blessing.” This memorable event brought holiday magic to life, showcasing the power of family and community during the season of giving.
