11-Year-Old Rescued from House Fire After Alerting Mom

In a harrowing late-night incident, an 11-year-old boy trapped inside a burning house in Ingram was rescued after he made a crucial phone call to his mom from inside a cupboard. Fire crews responded to the emergency at 18 Leslie Street around 10:45 p.m. on July 1, where they encountered heavy smoke billowing from the third floor. The boy’s quick thinking to call his mother and alert her to his location allowed firefighters to act swiftly, ensuring his safe extraction from the perilous situation.
