8-Year-Old’s Unsupervised Shopping Adventure Ends Safely

In a surprising turn of events, an 8-year-old girl from Bedford, Ohio, safely navigated her mother’s 2020 Nissan Rogue to a nearby Target store for an unsupervised shopping trip. The incident unfolded when Bedford Police were alerted to the missing child and vehicle, with Ring camera footage capturing her departure from home early Sunday morning. Humorously reflecting on the incident, the Bedford Police shared on social media the unexpected rush to shop, joking about her eagerness surpassing even that of the officer’s wife.
