Missouri School Honors Beloved Custodian by Naming Building in Her Honor

In a heartfelt tribute, the primary building of Swedeborg Elementary School in Missouri now proudly bears the name of its cherished custodian, Claudene Wilson. For over three decades, Wilson has gone above and beyond her custodial duties, taking on everything from organizing transportation to landscaping and even stepping in for lunch duties. Known by students and staff alike as “the backbone of the school,” her dedication has left a lasting impact on the community. The school board unanimously voted to honor her extraordinary service by naming the building after her, celebrating her role as a true pillar of the school. Wilson’s recognition shines as a testament to the love and respect she has earned through years of selfless support.
