A Six Year Old Just Broke The Girl Scout Cookie Sales Record

When six-year-old Pim Neill first spotted a group of girls selling cookies outside a store at age three, she turned to her family and announced that she wanted to do exactly that someday. This year, she did so much more than that. The Pittsburgh kindergartener has now sold over 120,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies in a single season, shattering the previous record of 44,000 boxes and leaving the entire country rooting for her. It all started with a simple TikTok video her father posted of Pim in her bright blue Daisy Scout vest, looking into the camera with her curly hair and glasses and asking the most charming question the internet had ever heard: Hi, my name is Pim. Do you want to buy some Girl Scout cookies?

That one video racked up nearly 6 million views almost overnight, and within just 24 hours Pim had sold 16,000 additional boxes from people all over the country rushing to click and order. What makes her story even more extraordinary is that Pim, who is medically complex and navigates selective mutism and anxiety, was actually turned away from her very first Girl Scout troop because of her disabilities before finding a wonderfully welcoming kindergarten-only group that embraced her completely and cheered her on from day one. Her online supporters have since become fiercely devoted fans, with TikTok comment sections overflowing with people declaring their love for her, posting videos of their cookie delivery hauls, and writing things like they were just one of Pim’s soldiers doing their duty. Pittsburgh’s mayor even proclaimed a special day in her honor, and Pim, with every single box sold, is now setting her sights on the ultimate goal: the all-time career record of 180,000 boxes.
