Alabama’s Abbie Stockard Crowned Miss America 2025

Abbie Stockard, a 22-year-old nursing student and cheerleader at Auburn University, has been crowned Miss America 2025. Representing Alabama, Stockard triumphed over 51 other contestants in the annual event held in Orlando, Florida.

Stockard, who also earns a $50,000 tuition scholarship, wowed judges with her contemporary dance talent and thoughtful discussion on workforce challenges post-pandemic. The competition included choreographed dances, activewear displays, talent showcases, and interview segments.

Visibly emotional after her victory, Stockard shared her gratitude in a series of videos, calling the moment “insane” and expressing excitement for her upcoming year as a Miss America advocate. She succeeds Madison Marsh as she embarks on a 12-month journey to inspire and represent communities across the globe.
