Recent trials reveal that Anastrozole can reduce the incidence of breast cancer by nearly 50% among post-menopausal women at moderate or high risk. This cost-effective solution, priced at just 4p per day due to its off-patent status, could potentially aid approximately 289,000 eligible women. Health Minister Will Quince expressed enthusiasm about this development, highlighting its potential to combat a disease that affects so many.
