Battery-powered machines like the Takeuchi TB20e are nearly silent, vibration-free, and produce no tailpipe emissions—making them a win for both workers and neighbors. Cities like Oslo are leading the charge, with 85% of municipal construction now emissions-free, and a goal of reaching 100% by year’s end.

The change is catching on elsewhere, with London running pilot programs and China quickly becoming the world’s largest market for electric construction equipment.
