Finley-Jay, an eight-year-old boy with a big heart and ADHD, has become a local hero at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by creating and distributing goodie bags to ambulance crews. Inspired by a social media group advocating random acts of kindness, Finley regularly visits the hospital to deliver his handmade bags filled with tea, coffee, sweets, biscuits, chocolates, and pens. His efforts are aimed at brightening the days of the hardworking medical staff. Laura, his mother, expressed immense pride in her son’s selfless acts, noting how his kindness shines through in everything he does. Will Gould, a representative from the West Midlands Ambulance Service, commented that while their staff do not expect thanks, Finley’s gesture adds significant value to their demanding jobs. Finley’s initiative has gained recognition and he now manages his own social media page to share his ongoing contributions. His story highlights how small acts of kindness can make a significant impact, fostering a community spirit and appreciation among emergency responders.
