Fearless at 84: Senior Fights Off Gator Attack with Unwavering Courage

Del Boppel, an 84-year-old from North Fort Myers, Florida, remarkably survived a sudden alligator attack while walking her dog near a local pond. The incident occurred as Boppel inadvertently ventured closer to the water’s edge, prompting a rapid attack from a nearby alligator. In a swift response, she managed to save her dog by throwing it to safety and striking the alligator, which eventually retreated after biting her. Boppel’s quick thinking and bravery during the terrifying encounter led to her rescue by neighbors, and the aggressive gator was subsequently captured and relocated by wildlife officials.
