Christopher Hyche’s yellowmouth grouper, weighing in at an impressive 23 pounds and measuring 33.5 inches, was just shy of a world record. Alongside this exceptional catch, the anglers also set records with a white grunt and an amaco jack fish, all certified by the North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries.
