During a family vacation en route to Disney World, George Healy, a Deputy Chief with the New York City Fire Department and a 34-year veteran of the FDNY, performed a daring rescue on Belt Parkway in Brooklyn. On Monday, August 12, Healy noticed a vehicle accident that had caused a severe traffic jam and quickly realized one of the cars was on fire.
