Despite the severity of his condition, which included hemispheric megalencephaly and heterotopia, the innovative medical intervention at Doernbechers Children’s Hospital in Portland has led to a significant decrease in his seizures. Now six months old, Jackson shows promising improvements in mobility and strength, engaging in daily therapies to enhance his physical capabilities. His mother, Kaitlyn Williamson, shares her hope and joy as Jackson continues to exhibit a joyful, sociable personality and progresses towards walking, signaling a hopeful future for the young fighter.
