Over 100 Border Collies Gather for Record-Breaking Meetup and Fundraiser

In a heartwarming display of canine camaraderie, over 100 border collies and their owners converged in Alnwick for a special fundraiser organized by Rocking Horse Cafe & Gallery. The event, which set a new attendance record, was held in support of SHAK, a local charity dedicated to aiding abused and neglected dogs. Celebrating International Dog Day, the gathering featured a variety of activities including an agility course and a group photography session, enhancing the social experience for these energetic dogs. Andrew Byne, the coffee shop owner, emphasized the importance of such meetups for border collies, highlighting their social nature and the joy these interactions bring to both pets and owners.
