Piglets Find Paradise: Rescued Swine Thrive at Local Ranch

After a shocking incident where around 150 captive-raised pigs were abandoned on a road near San Diego, over 50 of these animals have found a new lease on life. Many of the pigs were rescued by local communities and are now flourishing at the Little Bitty Animal Shelter, where they enjoy typical pig pleasures like chowing down and wallowing in muck. The shelter, along with other local rescue operations, intervened to provide a safe haven for these pigs, turning a potential tragedy into a story of survival and care. Today, pigs like Mesa, Grande, and their mother Wendi are not only surviving but thriving, contributing to the shelter’s mission to care for over 100 rescued animals.
