After being found stranded in a canal atop a partially submerged shopping cart, Dorothea, a resilient 10-year-old Chihuahua mix, was rescued by the Arizona Humane Society and the Phoenix Fire Department. Against all odds, the team safely brought Dorothea to shore, where she received care and compassion from the shelter staff. Now, she’s happily settled with a new family in Youngtown, Arizona, living a life filled with warmth and love.
