The Abandoned Chow Chow Who Found His Perfect Family

Teddy, a fluffy Chow Chow, was heartbreakingly abandoned when his family moved without a second thought for their pet, but Paws R Us in Johannesburg took him in and quickly found a family that fell in love with him. The problem was distance because his new family lived in Gqeberha along the coast, hundreds of miles away from the rescue center. That didn’t stop them from moving mountains to adopt him, with good people stepping in to make the impossible happen. Save-a-Pet rescue center did the home check to confirm it was perfect for Teddy, while Stephne Jackson from Watershed Animal Rescue arranged his flight to the coast where his new family waited eagerly.

When Teddy stepped out of his crate at the airport, his new family love-bombed him with cuddles, and the rest is history. The best surprise came when Teddy met his Chow girlfriend Nala, and now they live together in what appears to be a pretty serious relationship, they even went on holiday together in Knysna with their human family tagging along. Paws R Us thanked the family for literally changing Teddy’s life and showering him and Nala with so much love. Sometimes we go through the worst to find the best, and Teddy’s story proves that good humans still exist who will never let their fur-babies go.
