Tsunami Survivor Turns Tragedy into Triumph Through Community Support

Thuleewan “Kimmy” Boonyarattana, a restaurant owner on Thailand’s Phi Phi Islands, became a beacon of hope following the catastrophic 2004 tsunami. Surviving one of the deadliest natural disasters in history, Kimmy found herself amidst unimaginable devastation.
