Denmark Celebrates First Miss Universe Win

Victoria Kjær Theilvig has made history by becoming the first Danish contestant to win the Miss Universe title. The 21-year-old beauty queen was crowned during the glamorous event held in Mexico City on November 16, marking the competition’s 73rd edition. Over 120 contestants from around the world participated, but it was Theilvig who captured the judges’ hearts and the prestigious crown, previously held by Miss Universe 2023, Sheynnis Palacios. Runner-ups included Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina and Mexico’s Maria Fernanda Beltran, among others from Thailand and Venezuela. The victory was not just a personal triumph for Theilvig but also a moment of national pride for Denmark in a competition watched by millions worldwide. Her win is celebrated as a milestone for Danish representation in global beauty pageants, bringing a wave of excitement and pride to her home country.
