Gibson Delivers Record Breaking Year For Music Education

Gibson Gives capped off 2025 with the most impactful year in its history, donating 2,445 guitars alongside more than $5.3 million enabled for global music education initiatives and pushing the foundation’s lifetime total beyond 16,000 instruments. The philanthropic arm of Gibson placed guitars directly into schools, hospitals, community programs, and hands-on learning environments where access to music education would otherwise be limited, benefiting 301 organizations across multiple countries. The foundation awarded 27 scholarships totaling $139,000 to support emerging musicians and music industry professionals, ensuring that financial barriers don’t prevent talent from developing. Gibson Gives contributed more than $1 million toward Los Angeles wildfire relief efforts, working with Music Rising, MusiCares, and the Guitar Center Music Foundation to provide immediate humanitarian assistance and replace instruments lost by musicians and schools affected by the fires.

The foundation’s presence across all Vans Warped Tour dates generated more than $10,000 in donations and connected with younger audiences through artist-led engagement from mgk, Mayday Parade, The All-American Rejects, and Rise Against. Hospital and health-based programs recognized the therapeutic value of music, delivering instruments to children’s hospitals and wellness centers through partnerships with organizations like the Ryan Seacrest Foundation and Guitars for Vets. Since its inception, Gibson Gives has now raised more than $5.6 million directly and enabled $57.8 million in total funding for music education and wellness initiatives worldwide, operating on a model where 100 percent of donations go directly to giving the gift of music. The 2025 results position Gibson Gives as one of the most active and far-reaching philanthropic programs in the global music instrument sector, proving how a legacy brand can translate cultural influence into tangible social impact.
