Team USA Brings Big Wins And Snoop Dogg to Light The Torch

Team USA is crushing it at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Italy and they brought along the coolest torch carrier you could possibly imagine: Snoop Dogg, who lit up the games both literally and figuratively before competition even started. The legendary rapper who became an unexpected Olympic icon was welcomed with open arms by Team USA and got to carry the Olympic torch right before the festivities kicked off. With 232 athletes making up the largest American Winter Olympic team in history, the red white and blue squad is already adding up wins left and right including a dominant 5 to 1 victory in women’s hockey against Czechia where team captain Hilary Knight went up to score and Hayley Scamurra absolutely lit it up with two goals.

The victories didn’t stop there as Team USA also crushed it in curling mixed doubles with back to back wins defeating Norway 8 to 6 and then taking down Switzerland 7 to 4. This year’s team is lined with talent including seven athletes who are making their fifth Olympic appearance. The games are being held across Milan and Cortina making this the most widespread Olympics in history spanning nearly 8,500 square miles of northern Italy, and with 116 medal events across 16 different sports including the brand new addition of ski mountaineering, Team USA has plenty of opportunities to add to their already impressive total of 330 Winter Olympic medals earned throughout history. This is a legendary Olympic year, especially for Team USA. Maybe Snoop Dogg is Team USA’s good luck charm this year!
