The World’s Tallest and Smallest Dogs Met

When a Great Dane standing over 3 feet tall met a Chihuahua shorter than a soda can, the result was something straight out of a storybook. Reggie, the world’s tallest living dog, and Pearl, the tiniest, came nose-to-nose for the first time in Idaho—and instantly hit it off, proving size is no barrier to friendship.

Pearl made the journey from Florida to meet Reggie, and though she initially stayed in her owner’s arms, she quickly warmed up to her towering new friend. The two were soon lounging side-by-side on the couch, roaming the yard together, and posing for adorable photos—Pearl small enough to fit in Reggie’s food bowl, and Reggie tall enough to see over kitchen counters. It’s a heartwarming reminder that even the most unlikely duos can find common ground and a playful bond.
